Geared power lifting is not something I am very interested in because I've always figured the suits and briefs, etc take up so much effort to put on and take off that you need a whole crew to be helping you do it. I've read articles from Westside barbell about 5 guys helping one lifter put on a squat suit - that is how labor intensive the task is. However, Inzer Advanced Designs has recently designed a new powerlifting suit that functions a lot like a corset and a lifter can mostly wedge himself in and suit up all on his own. That's very cool.
