222,5 kgs Heavy Single on Deadlifts after Struggle Sets w/ VIDEO (17 Sep 2015)

Progressing on Graduated Deadlift Struggle Sets one baby-step at a time and also pushing the envelope on regular Deadlifts.

This is going to be a really short journal entry. I added weight to the deadlift struggle sets and I took the regular deadlifts up to an intensity of 222.5 kgs | 491 lbs which was a REAL grinder and absolutely wrecked me. But, I nailed it and I am very happy about that.

205 kgs = 452 lbs @ 89% of 230 kgs 1RM
215 kgs = 474 lbs @ 93%
222.5 kgs = 491 lbs @ 97%

Other News

In other news I managed to nail an awesome Bench Press of 100 kgs | 220 lbs after 8 years of neglecting it. This is more than my bodyweight and I have managed to reach this in just under 10 weeks of serious press training. I am happy!
